Nothing says “put together” quite like a sleek all-neutral look does. Whether you’re into your timeless basics, capsule wardrobes or going for that effortlessly chic beige aesthetic, an all-neutral look will never let you down. That is if you style it well, of course.

There are a few simple styles rules to stick to help you pull off the all-neutral look. While I’m not saying that you should never wear colour again, having a strong foundation of neutrals in your wardrobe will keep your closet more timeless and versatile. Focus on these shades – I promise they’ll love you back!

Add Some Texture

First things first: texture. Incorporating a variety of textures into your all-neutral look really creates a sense of dimension by adding a subtle yet complex edge. Less is more so playing with two to three textures will do the trick.

Another way to add dimension to your look is to wear two different neutral tones together. For example, a creamy beige look paired with rich chocolate-brown shoes and a matching bag. *Chef’s kiss* At the same time, don’t be shy to go full-on monochrome. Again, less is more. and a monochromatic look can be incredibly striking in the best possible way.

Get Layered Up

Layering is a really great way to elevate an all-neutral look. Grab your favourite boxy blazer, oversized parka or even throw your knitted cardi over your shoulders for an effortlessly chic moment.

You can also have fun with contrasting silhouettes. If you’re going tight on the top, go loose on the bottom, and vice versa. Into a full oversized look? Go wild! Wear it in a way that makes you feel your best and you can’t go wrong. Looking good, girl.
